Each year we train hundreds of mental health professionals around the world in the Theraplay method. We set and maintain standards for Theraplay treatment, and through ownership of the service mark "Theraplay®", insure that children being treated by a Theraplay therapist are receiving only high-quality care incorporating genuine Theraplay techniques. The Theraplay Institute has partnered with the Play Therapy
Certificate Program at MidAmerica Nazarene University
in Olathe, Kansas, to offer certification track
Introductory Theraplay & MIM training for students enrolled in this
program. The course will be taught by a
certified Theraplay trainer, and graduates will be entered into our database
and eligible to enter the Theraplay supervision practicum.
The program at MNU, is one of six recognized and approved by
the Association for Play Therapy.
Students in the program already hold a masters degree and licensing in a
mental health field. For more
