Closed Contracted Training: If you have twenty or more people to train, or
would like to partner with other professionals in your area to train up to
thirty people, we will create a training proposal just for you, tailored to
your clientele and/or staff. This
training would not be open to the general public. This is the only way we arrange training
outside of North America. For more information click here.
Hosted Training: If
you do not have enough people to make a closed training practical, consider
hosting the training instead. You
provide the training space and video equipment, and
we pay for everything else. As a "thank you" for hosting, we will give your agency a $695 training scholarship to use however you wish (one person registers for free or several people can split the scholarship). Generally, we need at least 15 people to make a hosted training feasible. This option is available only within the Continental U.S. and Canada. Successful hosts are ones that actively promote the training to their colleagues. For more information click here.
Sponsored Training: This arrangement allows your agency to earn
up to ten free registrations on a sliding scale based upon the number of paid
registrations from outside your agency.
There is no financial risk to you as the training can be canceled thirty
days prior if there are insufficient registrants; but you are asked to take
more responsibility for the training by copying and assembling the handouts and
providing refreshments. For more
information click here.
Presentations: For larger groups or conferences, we have
presentations ranging in length from one hour to two days. Content can be customized to fit your needs
and audience, whether it be professionals, paraprofessionals or parents. Programs include:
- MIM training for those who only work with assessments
- One-day Introduction to Theraplay seminar
- Theraplay for Adoptive/Foster Parents
- Short presentations about any aspect of Theraplay
- Theraplay Groups for Pre-Schools and Schools
